New Zealand has earthquakes everyday. My family lived in that area and moved out after a big earthquake. 7 is a decent shake but I think the biggest I experinced was maybe 6.5

There were three within 12 hours and one was an 8.1, all three enough to put Hawaii on tsnumai watch several times today until the final one cleared. That RARELY happens here in Hawaii regarding quakes generated in NZ. This WAS unusual activity.
