This reminds me of the visit I had to Heaven when I was 13.

Much Love to You and Interesting you were 13, it is and has always been a number I notice. I was born Sept 13th so I kinda like it. This is a verse I love alot.

What a lovely post. When I was thirteen, my twin ran away from our abusive home and left me alone with monsters. I was bereft. I'd gone to church all my life, but didn't really know Jesus well. Shortly after she left, I had a "dream" where I was one of several children in Heaven. We were in a beautiful green meadow, running up the side of a little hill and jumping off the other side to float down to ground. I remember I actually felt my stomach lurch each time. The sky was lit though I didn't see a sun. A stream trickled nearby, lined with flowers and trees. All of a sudden we children saw Jesus walking towards us. We left our hill and joined him, all plying for his attention and touch. When I awoke, I knew I'd been to Heaven and was encouraged that God was with me, especially then. It was years later, that I read Revelation and discovered there was no sun in Heaven. It was confirmation that what I'd experienced was real.
