And in my line of work which focuses heavily on foreign policy, I can affirm that (fake news headlines that twist things are certain way placed to the side), there has been almost no chatter let alone movement on new foreign policy initiatives.
It's not that it's taken me so long to figure this out, it's just that now we are over a month into what is supposed to be a whole new administration, and it basically starts to take this long to figure out that there is no new foreign policy action that normally would come with a new administration .... especially so one that that campaigned on the very idea that the past administration's foreign policy was so problematic.

Lack of Pentagon nominees could be harbinger of slow process
After three nominees were announced in December, the Biden team has yet to put forth more defense nominees.
