Daniel Chapter 9 says, the AC will be a Prince and a decendent of Roman Kings.

Roman = Italy

Italy's last King was Umberto Filiberto II, who after only serving 1 month was with his family exciled in 1946 after WW2.

Umberto II, son Prince Vittorio Filiberto is alive and has a son, the only grandson of King Umberto II, Emanuele Filiberto.

Wiki is stating that the House of Savoy claims to be also King of Jerusalem but there is no citation, and they've all been fighting for thousands of years for resources and power.

The story of the AC is they will help build the Temple, decieve the people as supportive of Isreal, once its built, declare themselves God and claim the throne as their own.

This needs to tie into Iraq, Iran, Syria and Turkey. Daniel explains that each kingdom (country) has a counterpart (angel). In John's vision (Revelation) he records that the four angels bound in the Euphrates River will be loosed to slay 1/3 of mankind. The Greek word tanslated as "bound" in English, simply means "held back" in Greek. There are angels that hold back this "Califate". I have kept an open mind as to who will join these countries, if any, in conquering and killing in order to set up power in Jerusalem. Islam must be the religion of the beast for many reasons I will not opine on here. These four countries "bordering" the Euphrates ("bordering" or "divided by" is also understood when the Greek is studied) already forces Islam on it's people. Thus, if the tie to Italy can be made, this become extemely interesting!
