Please expand/digress. What is this comment in reference to?

I did not know the word "Selah", so I looked it up so I would know how to properly respond to you. I still don't know. Sorry.
1. A word occurring between verses or paragraphs in parts of the Hebrew Bible, often in the Psalms, perhaps indicating a pause for contemplation.
2. Selah is defined as a Hebrew word that has been found at the ending of verses in Psalms and has been interpreted as an instruction calling for a break in the singing of the Psalm or it may mean "forever."

it is usualy found at the end of the Psalm.
I "BELIEVE" it was meant to "Pause for contemplation"/Reflection of the Verse.
But I also "BELIEVE" that the forever part is also Correct at the same time.
