Before I joined you all, I was wasting my time on FB, trying to educate my "friends" on the evils of Democratic Socialism which is regurgitated Communism. I was shunned and blocked. Only one, Margarita, who escaped Cuba with her parents as a child supported me. Her father was thrown in prison for not joining Castro's PCC party. Her family's assets were seized and upon departure from the island, her mother's sole possession, her wedding band, was removed from her finger before she could board the plane. That is Communism.

Thank you for sharing! I knew someone who had been a political prisoner in Cuba under Castro for 18 years. Several of those years he spent in solitary confinement. I met him around the time the Elian Gonzales story was trending. This man was NOT happy about Clinton's decision to send the boy back to Cuba. What is even grosser is I came across a documentary about Gonzales several years ago when he was about 11 years old. Castro treated this kid almost like a pet. I wanted to vomit.
