Our genome possesses intellect, too. Scientists studied people with advanced neurodegenerative diseases yet, their long term memory of family and interpersonal relationships was remarkably accurate. Ultimately they proved that our genome, which remains unaffected by the process, was responsible. Of course, it becomes more difficult for these individuals to articulate it as they approach end stage.
