I think they are both actors. I’m waiting for others to acknowledge it as well and understand the movie. Can people not see Massie’s changed appearance? His voice is also different, at times. I think the last time we saw the real Massie was the Tucker interview.
He and his wife are just as protected as Trump (or the bad Trump actually died in that helo crash decades ago and this is series of military clones - I see at least 5). This Trump character is a master in misdirection, and that is his role. We are supposed to both love and hate things he does - they can’t have him appear Jesus-like.
