he turban - whether of an ordinary kohen or the Kohen Gadol - was sixteen cubits long (approximately 8 meters/yards). The sash was about three fingerbreadths wide (approximately 6 cm/2.4 inches) and 32 cubits long (approximately 16 meters/yards). [The priest would] wrap it around himself, winding after winding. The priestly garments were not sown, rather they were woven, as [Exodus 39:22] states: "weavers' craft."
