President Trump says that Jerome Powell is either incompetent or he is a “crook.”
After signing an executive order, DJT was asked about whether the DOJ should continue the investigation into Jerome Powell.
“This is a small little complex. It’s costing billions of dollars… I built the hotel on Pennsylvania Avenue for around $200 million… They’re spending many times that amount to do a renovation of a building… $4 billion dollars to build a building?! I could have renovated that building and fixed it up for $25 million…
So it’s either gross incompetence or it’s theft. Somebody is making money…
So he’s either incompetent or he, or somebody, is a crook.”
Damn, that’s the boldest accusation he has made yet. He has implied it before, but never outright said it.
The number of scams DJT is exposing is truly incredible.
