Recent court filing in the ongoing defamation lawsuit *Coomer v. Byrne et al — Eric Coomer in a Deposition yesterday admitted to working with foreign actors in the 2020 election

(Case No. 8:24-cv-00008-TPB-SPF, U.S. District Court for the Middle District of Florida, Tampa Division). In a motion filed just before Eric Coomer's deposition on January 27, 2026, Coomer sought a protective order to limit questioning on certain topics, including his interactions with foreign nationals like China, Serbia, and Venezuela. In that filing, he acknowledged having professional discussions with foreign nationals regarding Dominion Voting Systems' equipment, vote adjudication software, election system coding, and source code programming at a technical level.

The HUGE glaring problem is that this directly contradicts prior public statements from Dominion that emphasized “no foreign involvement in its core operations or U.S. elections”..
