I knew a wise woman
and she told me,
that the river would shape me
and the wild wind would cool me.

Father Sun would warm me,
Mother Earth would clothe me,
Grandmother Moon would greet me,
and from the old ways she would teach me.

A wise woman told me,
walk your path lightly,
gently move the earth,
recognize how precious love is.

She said, share all that you have learned from me with others.
Be still and breathe,
Be patient.
For the web of life.
It is woven for you.
But you still have to choose.
Choose your path.

And in the end the wise woman said to me:
"Listen to the wisdom that dwells within you.
Follow it and you will be free."
