Searching for a new "banK" Got a letter in the mail. We must keep $250 in my checking account or else we get a service fee. I couldn't keep 100 in it forget 250. Plain and simple its robbery

Credit Union or you might look for a "State" bank which I moved my account to. They may tend to be more rural but mine is great.

Credit unions are the same you still get charged the fee every time you use your card they are in on too. If they were not you should get that money back or never taken out. Pay to use your money is the game. Start paying in cash it goes away.

I get that. All for using cash.
I'm just saying they tend to be more people oriented and perhaps less corrupt in their general practices like how big banks will stack your checks at the end of the day in a way that maximizes overdraft fees.
