The Scope: They manage the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office (USPTO), the Federal Retirement Thrift Investment Board (the pension fund for the US Military and Congress), air traffic control towers, and the CMS (Obamacare) eligibility data.
The "Golden Share": The British Government retains a "Golden Share" in SERCO, granting them veto power over the company's operations.
The Implication: If SERCO runs the US military logistics and the US patent office, and the British Crown controls SERCO... The United States is arguably still a colony.

The Mechanism:
An American inventor files a patent for "Free Energy" or "Anti-Gravity" (The Resonance Tech).
The application goes to SERCO for "Pre-Grant Classification."
SERCO flags it under the Invention Secrecy Act of 1951.
The patent is issued a "Secrecy Order" (DoD Directive 5200.1-PH).
The technology is seized for "National Security," handed to the defense contractors (The Triad), and the inventor is silenced.
