The end of the ‘Special Relationship’? Trump is infuriated by the UK’s lack of understanding about our own defence needs.
It was bound to happen: Trump will just impose tariffs. An additional 10% on the UK for the insult and the UK’s ‘special relationship’ in tatters.
Starmer keeps antagonising the US. Firstly he stopped the UK providing intelligence to the US about Venezuela, now he has sent our army (1 man!!!) to stick a finger up at Trump. So we are defending Denmark’s colony, while Starmer is giving away our own colonies (because he feels guilty about them)! And in the process he is wrecking the UK’s entire defence, which utterly depends on the USA. The US even control our nuclear missiles and their satellite requirements! Starmer is very keen to hand over the reins of power to the EU, but which side does he think we would fight on then, or with whose help?
What does it matter to the UK whether the US holds Greenland or not? Sure, it creates a more powerful USA
