I looked briefly at the video, one was holding a sign saying 'Stop spying on nurses'
What is the overall reason for the walk out?

Key points: management’s threats to cut healthcare benefits for the frontline nurses, management’s attempt to roll back safe staffing standards that nurses won three years ago, and management’s refusal to agree to protections from workplace violence.
Montefiore seems to be the "spying" issue:
...management has responded with retaliation, intimidation, and stalling, and flaunted the more than $100 million they’ve collectively spent on temporary replacement nurses. Mt Sinai disciplined and attempted to silence nurses who spoke out on workplace safety. NY-Presbyterian has threatened job loss for striking. Montefiore has surveilled union nurses, in attempts to intimidate them. All three hospitals have withheld information on their excessive use of traveler nurses.
2024, NY-Presbyterian CEO Steve Corwin raked in $26.3 million in total compensation-$2.1 million a month!

Thank you, seems nurses are being given the short end.
I do not know your opinion on the med bed subject.
I like the idea, but have not seen anyone tackle the actual practicality of implementing the tech.
I am assuming there will still be medical professionals needed to run the equipment, and ensure the process happens smoothly.
I do wonder, if this is going to be just one part of the tech change over... that will push traditional nurses towards the new process.
Just spit balling.
While the empire that pushed the injection and boosters is still calling the shots, nurses will either be coerced into compliance, have to find new jobs, or chose to agree with the empire, to continue to work.
