“Plea Deals Are Not Confessions of TRUTH.” Let me explain why…

A plea deal is often not about guilt.
It’s about survival inside a coercive system.

When someone is arrested, the pressure begins immediately:

Bail that families can’t afford

Months or years of pretrial detention

Evidence delays or suppression

Threats of extreme sentencing if they go to trial

Financial ruin from legal fees

Isolation, fear, and exhaustion

At that point, a plea can look like the only way toшин stop the bleeding.

Many people sign pleas because:

They are innocent but out-resourced

They are told they will get decades if they fight

They are physically and mentally worn down

They need to go home
