Corruption Scandal Hits Zelensky’s Party as NABU Moves Into Government Quarter

Ukrainian channels report that officers from the National Anti-Corruption Bureau (NABU) have entered the government quarter in Kiev, as a major corruption scandal erupts inside Zelensky’s Servant of the People party.

According to MP Goncharenko, NABU and SAP are expected in the coming days to serve indictments to several sitting MPs accused of receiving off-the-books cash payments from a black fund in exchange for votes. Panic is spreading within the party, with uncertainty over how many lawmakers were recorded and who may already be cooperating with investigators.

According to media reports, they are also carrying out investigative actions at the Parkovy Congress Center, which houses the office of Zelensky’s Servant of the People party.

Amid these investigative actions against Servant of the People MPs, the Rada session was closed, according to MP Maryana Bezuhla.
