How many realize that there are two calendars? The world evolved on the Julian calendar until Gregory installed the Gregorian calendar. He took 13 days and threw them inn the trash. The calendar he installed set the calendar to the seasons and took us away from following the cycle of the moon.

Today is December 24 on the Gregorian calendar.
Today is December 11 on the Julian calendar.

The military is following the Julian /calendar and Zulu time.
We will be moving back to the Julian calendar.
