This is my first holiday season without my Mama. We lived together since 1994 and I was her live in caregiver for the last ten years of her life. Mama lived to be 100 years and 17 days old. The angels took her to heaven in August 2024. We were best friends. There is a huge vacuum in my life. However, my dog Maggie Mae and I are surviving. I pray each day inviting the Holy Spirit to guide me in all that I say, think and do. God lifts me up each day and opens up opportunities for me. My daily prayer is in the song "I Then Shall Live" written by Bill and Gloria Gaither. I pray that you find peace throughout this period and that your solitude will include a close relationship with a loving God.
