Tap "Sign Up" on the home page. Enter your email address, choose a username, and create a password. You'll receive a verification email to confirm your account.
After logging in, click your avatar in the sidebar and go to your profile. Click "Edit Profile" to add a display name, bio, profile photo, and cover image. Your profile is how other members discover and connect with you.
Yes. AnonUp is free to join and use. We may offer optional premium features in the future, but the core platform will always be free.
Click the compose button (red pen icon) in the sidebar, or use the post composer at the top of your home feed. You can add text, images, videos, and links to your post. Click "Post" when you're ready to publish.
Yes. Click the three-dot menu on any of your posts to edit or delete it. Edited posts will show an "edited" indicator.
Stories are short-lived posts that appear at the top of the home feed. They disappear after 24 hours. Tap the "+" button in the Stories bar to create one using photos or short videos.
Posts can be up to 5,000 characters long, giving you plenty of room to express your thoughts.
Visit their profile and click the "Follow" button. Their posts will then appear in your home feed. You can also find people to follow in the "Suggested" section on the right panel.
Click the Messages icon in the sidebar to open your inbox. You can start a new conversation by searching for a user. Messages are private between you and the recipient.
Yes. Visit the user's profile and click the three-dot menu to find Block and Mute options. Blocked users cannot see your profile, posts, or send you messages. Muted users' posts will be hidden from your feed without them knowing.
Go to Settings > Account > Password. Enter your current password and your new password to update it.
Go to Settings > Appearance, or click the Theme link in the footer. Dark mode is enabled by default.
Go to Settings > Account > Delete Account. This action is permanent. All your posts, messages, and data will be removed within 30 days. Please download any data you want to keep before deleting.
Yes. Go to Settings > Account > Username. Note that your old username will become available for others to claim.
Click the three-dot menu on any post or profile and select "Report." Choose the reason that best fits and submit. Our moderation team reviews reports promptly and will take action if the content violates our Community Guidelines.
Reports are reviewed by our moderation system. You'll be notified of the outcome. Actions may include content removal, warnings, temporary suspensions, or permanent bans depending on the severity and history of violations.
AnonUp supports open discourse, but the following are prohibited: direct threats of violence, child exploitation material, doxxing, spam, malware, and content that violates applicable law. See our full Community Guidelines for details.
If your content was removed or your account was restricted, you'll receive a notification explaining why. You can submit an appeal by replying to that notification or by contacting us at support@anonup.com. Appeals are reviewed within 48 hours.
AnonUp works on all modern browsers including Chrome, Firefox, Safari, Edge, and Brave. We recommend keeping your browser up to date for the best experience.
AnonUp is a Progressive Web App (PWA). You can install it on your phone by visiting anonup.com in your mobile browser and selecting "Add to Home Screen." It works just like a native app.
