Unfortunately, she absolutely is in prison and suffering. I know people who talk to her and visit her. Since CO is related to Venezuela, I think a little bit more time is needed before really applying the pressure to free her (need to take down Maduro et al). It is definitely a race against time. But, the next two weeks, I think, will be telling.
