Isn’t this a fun time of year?
Lights everywhere, mistletoe, eggnog, and all the giving & receiving.
When we receive, not only do we affirm our own worthiness and open the way for more, but we make possible even greater joys for the giver.
We strengthen confidence in our abilities to handle whatever comes our way.
Our awareness of our physical reactions is so important.
When we practice intentional breathing this bring our minds and bodies into a openness to receive and give.
The more we connect with our inner stillness, the easier it is to loosen the grip that external chaos has on our emotional well-being.
There’s no point in worrying about external factors, since we can’t control them anyway.
Always take a small pause before responding.
That brief moment of stillness allows a new perspective to emerge, and often, that’s all it takes to move calmly through situations that trigger intense reactions.
With time, calm becomes our natural state and a way of life.
