There's certainly been a lot of foreign interference happening in Sudan for many years. The militia causing atrocities in Dharfur have reportedly been financed by outsiders. It's also been reported the Arab Sudanese faction want to kill all the black Sudanese (even tho most are Muslim). Dharfur has gold mines and oher natural resources to a lesser extent. I've read Saudi, UAE, Qatar, China & Russa over the years- but no idea what's accurate. I just know the people have suffered for too long and am so happy POTUS is shining the light on their plight. Praying for them all.

“Arab leaders, especially the highly respected Crown Prince of Saudi Arabia… have asked me to use the power and influence of the Presidency to bring an immediate halt to what is taking place in Sudan.”
Translation:
MBS is running the war, not stopping it.
The Rapid Support Forces (RSF) that turned Darfur into a slaughterhouse again in 2023–2025 are literally UAE/Saudi proxies (gold smuggling routes through Chad, Wagner/Africa Corps weapons funneled via Port Sudan, $2B+ in Emirati/Saudi cash per UN reports). The RSF’s commander, Hemetti, was on Riyadh’s payroll for Yemen mercs until he turned the guns on Khartoum. The same House of Saud that funds the RSF also funds the mosques in Minneapolis and Dearborn and the “interfaith” centers in Iowa City. Same knife, different sheath.
