LAPD Chief Jim McDonnell is firing back after a federal judge upheld an injunction that bars officers from using force on members of the media during demonstrations.
McDonnell says the ruling makes it harder for officers to control violent protests and creates confusion over who qualifies as “press” in an era of influencers and livestreamers.
