Seems like we're 'seeing' it today.
Some refer to this in 'religion' as the 'temptation of Jesus', but I wonder about that, Jesus was sinless, filled w/ the Holy Spirit and God man ... He was more likely Bored and His comments could been used to reply to any question - generic Word of God.
