I experience this kind of reaction regularly here in Germany. If the topic Donald Trump comes up, people tend to get angry and mock him, but when you ask, what in particular they don't like, the best thing thing they can come up with is some slogan from the mainstream media, which they still believe is true. If you ask them, how they know what they think, they tell you, it was on TV. They don't do any thinking for themselves and if you confront them with facts, like "have you noticed that he is ending all wars and establishing world peace?", they just keep making excuses, but have no real answers.
