How to create your own REGULAR TV:
1) Buy a monitor
2)Make sure it has AUX/headsets/headphone jack and HDMI port.
3) Buy a HDMI to RCA adapter or an Tivo/PVR with HDMI hookup.
4) Attach antenna to DVR/PVR or use VCR(Requires RCA adapter)
5) USE the VCR remote or DVR/PVR remote to change channels.
6) For sound hook up either speakers or a soundbar (AUX handy) Done.

For a smart TV?
All the above just use Roku And plug it into the HDMI port. Done.
