I brought this topic up before on AU and no one said a word. I was raised Christian and what I am about to say may piss some of you off, sorry. If you read the 10 commandments, the very first 1 - "I am the Lord thy God. Thou shall not have strange gods before Me." This is about the holding anyone other the God in the highest regard as well as idol worship, etc. Following Christ, who was a man, is having a false God, no? The explanation I once read, we have God the father no question about that. Then when God created creation his son is actually God's intelligence within creation and the holy spirit is the energy supporting creation. So everything in creation is filled with God's intelligence through the holy spirit supporting everything. When a painter creates a painting or sculpture we don't say the creation is the artist, we say this is a creation of the artist. It also has been said time and time again that God is outside of creation, untouchable.

That makes total sense also.
I am still confused about Jesus stating on the cross, in so much pain and despair asking his father to forgive them, for they know not what they do. .. Just the wording because if they are part of the same entity it makes no sense to me for him to say forgive them father if he is also the father?
