My mother was on statins for 20+ years… now has dementia!! I have gotten her off them about 6 months ago when I learned the statins cause dementia… but I’m afraid she’s at an irreversible stage now.

Quit statins about 1 1/2 yr ago after much reading. Best thing I EVER did! I no longer use a walker or cane. I no longer live in post-a-note city just to remember stuff. At my cholest check a month ago, my levels were all way better than when I was on them (and Dr thought they would be worse because I quit) Of all things, I'm thankful I can think clearly and not worry I'm heading into dementia! Neighbors, friends & fam cannot believe the positive changes they see...yay me :-)

They had my Dad on them.
My doctor took my Dad off of them, and said you don't need them. Blood pressure pills too.

All from a lack of cholesterol. The lining protecting the brain is almost entirely cholesterol. Statins inflame the liver, hindering it's ability to adequately make cholesterol. Alzheimers, parkinsons, etc. All "healthcare" produced.

Statins are gateway drugs.

Once you're on them, you can be sure that you'll eventually be on even more meds.
