Israel and the Jewish people are not all good "God's chosen ones." Just like the religious leaders of Jesus' time, many continue to be evil oppressors just like those who persecuted Christians, killed their promised Messiah, and were filled with religious pride. God's judgement will continue to be poured out on Israel for their unbelief. They have suffered judgement after judgement, exiled, temple destroyed twice, and still they wonder why they are always being attacked. 🙄
