In the 50's-60's-70's, it would have taken the American worker anywhere from 7,000/8,000 hours of direct work savings to outright purchase the average American home.

Today, it would be about 30,000 hours of work to do the same action, all assuming you save 100% towards the home of course. Not possible due to bills and other expenses.

It's been a demoralizing campaign ever since and nearly 3 generations have been sold out, playing a rigged game.
