This started well over 100 years ago. there was no instant or connected communication. People didn’t even have TV or even radio in 1913 to see what their government was doing. They were not knowledgeable about what was happening in Washington DC. The switch out happened and by the time anybody might have started looking at it, it was decades and generations later, and it was already institutionalized.
When I started asking questions in the late 90s, everybody thought I was insane and said it was part of our government. I asked, “Why can’t we forgive our own debt then”? 🤔🤷‍♀️😡
