Does it just pour out all the time like that? Never heard of a product like this... probably cheaper to run than a deep well... but if you have a lot of them running, it's going to make the air very dry I would think? Is there a link you can post?
For some reason I am thinking of 'moisture farmer - tatooine'...

Distilled water lacks minerals, and does not taste good... hubs is trained in Chemistry, and told me this. I imagine in an area where water is lacking this could be overcome and it would be good for watering plants, and be added to the aquafers, collecting minerals on the way.

Thank you.
I showed this to my husband (he is trained in Chemistry, and he says the water would lack minerals, so would not taste good, so you would need to take trace minerals to compensate, its basically distilled water.
But, if it's the only water you have I am sure that can be overcome.
He says they used a similar system in the Airforce to provide cool air cheaply, by taking the hot air from a turbine and forcing it through a passive system of cone chambers called an Air Cycle machine, it also generated distilled water.
