Naturopathic Health Tips for Forest Fires
Forest fires can have devastating effects on our health and the environment. As we navigate through these challenging times, here are some naturopathic health tips to help you stay well:
Lung Support: NAC daily during fire season can help the lungs. Use herbs like Mullein and Licorice Root to soothe and heal irritated respiratory tracts. Herbal teas and tinctures can be beneficial.
Immune Boost: Strengthen your immune system with a daily dose of Vitamin C, Zinc, and Echinacea. These help your body resist the adverse effects of smoke inhalation.
Stay Hydrated: Drink plenty of water infused with electrolytes. Incorporate hydrating fruits like cucumbers and watermelons into your diet.

GREAT tips! This year was the first year in my 69 that I ever remember having a sand storm of sorts... it was weird. I pray no one would ever have to go through fires like some have recently but being prepared is of utmost importance. Thanks, Ice Kates!
