I had pacemaker surgery yesterday. I did fine through the surgery, thank the Lord. Afterwards I was so drowsy I slept most of the day yesterday and all night last night. My day shift nurse came in the room when her shift was almost over to check my vitals. I woke up briefly and talked to her. She said "You have slept all day". The combo of Dilaudid and benadryl wiped me out. I'm still not real steady on my feet today, but I'm home and wearing the brace with my hand tied to my side to keep me from raising that arm over my head. I will start wearing it to bed at night only in a couple of days. Please keep me in your prayers. My chest is very sore. Hope it heals fast.
