I don't have medical advise, but I would like to recommend you and your family watch videos and attend a seminar of Dr. Teepa Snow's. Best seminar I have ever been to, ever. Very informative and eye-opening. The seminar teaches you in-depth understanding of the disease and its progression, signs to look for to recognize changes, and how to handle the patient. It's even a bit of a workshop where you work with partners, and there are on-stage demonstrations. It's fantastic and a really good guide and resource for further help. It certainly helped my family!
