My senior year in high school ('81), I would read the newspaper in the library during lunch hour after I'd eaten.
I learned numerous useless tidbits of random trivia, such as lightning bugs were used to make shark repellant.
Another item I've remembered ever since was that clock/watch/time piece companies would have the clock set at approximately 10:10 in their print and TV ads. That, they said, was because 10:10 resembles a smile, which registers subconsciously in the human mind, associating a positive feeling with the watch/clock/etc.
Whether that is true or not, I can't confirm. However, I have noticed in that 44-year interim that 90 percent of the ads for clocks/watches/etc showed the time as 10:10.
Conclusion: I don't read anything into a 10:10 clock other than marketing or it being the actual time.
