I agree people like to complain too much instead of being thankful.

Not always.
Scripture says..
Come let us reason together.

Trauma when not processed is stored.
When timing is right...it surfaces, sometimes with flashbacks (They are like clips of memories that feel like dreams..that are not what you would choose to dream.)
They also surface as pain that may stay in the body without processing. They are often tied to forgiveness.
Memories of trauma also surface as bruising when..nothing in the present caused the bruises.
NONE OF IT IS WHERE YOU WANT TO GO.
However...going into this stuff is healing.
I prefer INSTANT healing!
It doesn't always work that way.

"Jesus was acquainted with sorrow & suffering a man others hid their face from.."
He KNOWS...what you feel. Part of being AUTHENTIC is working out your journey with Him.
What has been so helpful is knowing:

πŸ’›The depth of pain you know is also the depth of LOVE you are.

As you heal what you fear..you are more of who you are here to be.
"Be still and know God is God."

For me..Healing what I fear is connected to something from my past.

When I ask God to show me what it is connected to it often surprises me.
Things I thought were forgiven or in my opinion done...are not done...New pieces surface when God shows me the way.
Sometimes I am stubborn ...I feel I have a right to the grudge.... though the condition of grace is, "On the basis that you forgive you are forgiven.."
Mat 18:23-35
Being authentic and "being" requires more than acting though at times Fake it till you make it was necessary.

To me..this is all connected to my individual relationship to His small voice and following scripture. THERE IS NO FORMULA.
If there were scripts...you could fall asleep...
if you follow rules you may be good at the rules but IMO it is surface.
When I admit to God what I feel He works...when I play hide and seek...it is me hiding from me.
LOL He KNOWS who I am...actually from before birth.πŸ’›
He is my treasure...hidden gold!
