What happens when everyone realizes that AI doesn’t stand for artificial intelligence? It is neither artificial nor intelligent. It is simply aggregated information that is presented in a humanistic tone. The tone is programmed in by a very real human. The bias is programmed the same way.
It’s semantics and magic at its most basic level. They have anthropomorphised a computer program that collects and analyzes data to convince humanity that intelligence can be created.
I’m not saying it’s a useless tool. I’m saying that it’s just that. A tool. Except for the trickery. There’s nothing artificial or intelligent about it.
