Of course
Canada has all the heavy crude to manufacture gasoline, diesel, asphalt (he knows the oil reserve goes through Saskatchewan and Manitoba...making it the world's largest reserve)
The US doesn't have any heavy crude, yet their gas and diesel refineries can only process heavy crude, not light US crude.
The highest quality diamonds in the world
3rd largest gold producer on the planet (only because the rest is un tapped)
Highest grade Uranium in the world (Saskatchewan)
Most metallurgical coal in the world
Magnetite deposits to process any grade of coal.
It's a necessary business move.
Would be prudent for both countries since the Rockerfeller/Pierre Trudeau partnership has been keeping Canadian oil from selling on the world market since the 60's.
Buying canadian crude at a discounted rate.
Let's get this amalgamation done and quit F'ng around
