Ahhh Mikie, I so agree! The Sacred Sonoran is the place to be! Had to walk my fence lines last week and actually found a few buds beginning to blossom on the saguaros. The last one pictured is “Grandfather Saguaro”. I had a nice chat with him as I passed by, and look what I found in the frame once I returned to the house! No coincidence ❣️🫶🏻🌹PS… Retirement is indeed wonderful😘

I didn't ask to be born in the snowbelt (well, maybe I did).
Winter really takes a toll on you in this part of the country.
Bitter cold temps, trudging through snow and lack of sun exposure...finally Spring is here.

I've endured temps as high as 120 degrees with no problem, not that I would like it to be that hot all of the time because that is extreme on the other end.
Temps typically are around 90-100 degrees at the end of May in the Vegas area, which is perfect for me ☀️
