Do the opposite of what the gubbermynt recommends.

Avoid eggs: Eat 3 to 6 daily.

Limit red meat: Eat steak daily.

Avoid dairy: Eat yogurt daily.

Limit salt: Salt everything.

Avoid butter: Cook with butter.

You've just won your health back.

Funny how that works........

Been doing exactly this for the last 10 years.

I am 63, and, I go to the Dr once a year for my thyroid prescription to be renewed (cancer radiation destroyed my thyroid in 2004).

Every year, my blood work is perfect... and my cholesterol THEY consider high, I refuse to have 'treated' I want my brain to continue functioning for the next 30 years...

People say I look like I am in my 40s, and my last trip to the dentist in 2017 (cracked tooth), the hygienist said I had the teeth of a 35 yr old...

Trust YOUR gut... it has YOUR best interests at heart.

If it feels wrong, if your body reacts - even in a very small negative way - STOP doing what you are doing.

Go into the sun, get some color, enjoy fresh air when you can, do not consume preservatives.

Yes, do all the things that give you joy too! I went to a new doctor (My doctor retired) and he said, "Well you know everything what do you need me for?" I said I have to see you to get my prescription filled. He wanted to do all the stuff
mammogram, colonoscopy, etc. and I told him no and why. My other doctor and I got along fine. The new doctor and I had a long conversation about arranged marriages and how they don't always work out. He is Indian. He told me about his relationship with his mother and was really sweet. Maybe I reminded him of his mother. When I went home I just cracked up laughing because life is super strange sometimes.

Funnily enough, I had to change Dr's last year, my old Dr no longer took my insurance, so I had to move...

...And, train a new Dr.:

no, not taking statins

no, not having a colonoscopy

no, not doing mammograms

Like you, I am through having things done to me that cause more issues than they fix.
