Cherry's Effect on Cancer Cells 😀

While cherries have shown promise in laboratory studies, the evidence is not yet conclusive for their ability to destroy cancer cells in humans. However, the anthocyanins in cherries have been shown to inhibit the growth of cancer cells and stimulate their self-destruction, without affecting healthy cells. Some studies have demonstrated that cherries may reduce the risk of colon cancer and alleviate symptoms of certain types of cancer.

Human intervention trials have shown mixed results, but suggest that cherries may have anti-cancer properties.
