Dr. Mehmet Oz will serve as the next Administrator of the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services after the full Senate voted along party lines to confirm his nomination on Thursday.
The former daytime TV doctor turned politician will be in charge of nearly $1.5 trillion in federal healthcare spending.
