The irony is amazing. During WWll artists from Europe were fleeing to America, happy to become citizens. Now so many artists here in the United States are very upset at what DJT is doing, parroting the msm crap that he is going to "ruin the country".
Why, one wonders. As it turns out, many of the artists are in places like Santa Fe, NM and other large "art cities"; which are often sanctuary cities. Many are gallery owners who have been importing rugs and pottery from places such as Afghanistan, Turkey and Mexico since the 1970's.
What was coming in w those rugs? Drugs? Other artworks and jewelry rolled up in the rugs and never declared, nor documented? Is this a real reason why they are so upset? Are they worried their operations will be found out and their heretofore secret illicit activities will be uncovered? (Drugs can be powdered then baked into pottery and later distilled out.) Many started their galleries as a way to launder money.
