How to turn off 5g:
Apple:
✔️Settings > Cellular Data > Switch 5g to 4g / LTE
Android:
Settings > Connections > Mobile Networks > Network Mode > select 4G/LTE
Additional solutions for the home:
✔️Swap wifi for ethernet
✔️Swap LEDS for incandescents
✔️Hardwire your devices
✔️Get a landline phone
✔️Toss out smart devices such as alexa, airpods, smart watches, roomba, ring doorbell, etc
