I find myself in a dire and unjust situation. I feel as though I am in the grips of political persecution.
The incident occurred in a Walmart parking lot when I went to enter my car and witnessed a man attempting to break into a truck next to me. Feeling unsafe, I got into my vehicle, closed the windows, and briefly displayed my legally owned firearm flat on my hand—without waving it, pointing it, or making any threats. In under 20 seconds, I left the parking lot without speaking a single word.
