In the Old Testament, God had a way of saying that a society had reached its lowest moral point…
“Every man did what was right in his own eyes.” Or by todays philosophy, “if it feels right, then do it”
This is a moral low, when no one recognizes any Heavenly authority and just decides everything they do is “fine” for their own reasons
This points back to the original sin
Pride
We have again reached the point where nearly every man is doing what is right in his own eyes opposed to doing what is right in the Lords eyes
The only solution, per the scriptures, is to seek the Lord and obey His commandments. The Lord commands us to “come out from among them, and be ye separate”
(2 Cor. 6:17)
When we do what is right in our own eyes, we begin to craft a false image of God in our own mind, which ultimately leads to death
