No one enjoys having to deal with HOAs here is a wicked response that I use that worked and cost the HOA literally tens of thousands of dollars

Every time you get a notice, a bill, a threatening letter, or whatever from the HOA then write back your response which will be in of course disagreement to whatever their petty little argument is about

Go to your local printers and print up your replies in amounts of about 100 pages in responses

Mail the replies to your hoa's lawyer all 100 of the replies on different dates the lawyer for the HOA will Bill your HOA about $350 hr for his Services of reading your replies they must respond to each and every reply

WASH RINSE & REPEAT

Your HOA will not be expecting the bill they get from their lawyer you can ask them to drop their Petty problem with the wrong color petunias on your front porch or they could face tens of thousands of dollars of more expenses from the legal firm
